Star Trek Chrono-Trek - Looney Labs
Game title: Star Trek Chrono-Trek
Game description: Explore the history (and alternate history) of the entire Star Trek universe in this version of Chrononauts. Take on the ID of one of your favorite Star Trek characters as you try to alter history to restore your specific timeline! Maybe you need to ensure that the Federation gets founded, or just retrieve the Orb of Time and some tea. Earl Grey. Hot.
Star Trek has a long history (haha) with time travel and Alternate Universes within its various runs. It seems like a no-brainer that Looney Labs would combine Trek with Chrononauts, their zany game of time travel, secret identities, and secret missions. You can expect it to be exactly like Chrononauts, just with your favorite Star Trek goodness!
- Tons of Star Trek references for fans
- Evil Spock
- Design is VERY Star Trek, but that means a little bland

Star Trek has a long history (haha) with time travel and Alternate Universes within its various runs. It seems like a no-brainier that Looney Labs would combine Trek with Chrononauts, their zany game of time travel, secret identities, and secret missions. You can expect it to be exactly like Chrononauts, just with your favorite Star Trek goodness!
For those not familiar with Chrononauts, it’s all about completing a secret goal. Everyone gets a unique player character and their own goal. A timeline is setup up in a giant grid and players take turns drawing cards, playing cards, affecting change in the timeline, and causing all sorts of havok until they meet the criteria of their mission. It’s simple, fast, chaotic, and fun, just like most of Looney Labs games.
There’s tons of Star Trek references in here, most importantly Evil Spock. I can’t imagine Trekkies not enjoying this game just for the sheer fact that they can significantly alter the timeline so that they’re most beloved, or hated, events never happen. Don’t want Spock to die? You can make sure that doesn’t happen. Want to make sure the Borg never find out about Humanity? You can do that to.
Of course your actions will have repercussions later down the line.
Star Trek Chrono-Trek is a must-have for Trek Fans. If you’re a fan of Chrononauts, you should also pick this up as it feels like a slightly more superior version of the game. The only downside, if you can really call it that, is that the design really follows that Star Trek display-vibe and is a bit bland.
But who can really mind when Evil Spock has that sweet, sweet goatee?
