About the program

Creating games, movies, and advertising is hard to imagine without computer graphics. This course introduces students to the pipelines of several CG majors at once and helps them choose their future profession.

During the course students will create small projects in Photoshop, Maya and ZBrush; assemble a level in the game engine Unreal Engine; make a motion project in Adobe After Effects; learn how to create special effects and animation for movies in Houdini and Cinema 4D.

You can enroll in this course even if you have no experience at all in drawing and working with 3D. Drawing and anatomy classes will teach you the basics of composition, breaking down complex shapes into simple ones, quick constructive sketches, and drawing characters in dynamic poses.

The aim of the course is to introduce students to several CG specialties in practice and help prepare portfolios for admission to long-term programs at Scream School, Moscow Film School and British Higher School of Design.

At the end of the course students will see the graduation papers: Universal University professors will evaluate graduates’ portfolios and advise them on what else they need to work on to be accepted to the chosen program.
