How would you like to run a fantasy RPG and only need ONE book? What if that one book was 207 small pages? Well, look no further than Tiny Dungeon 2nd Edition. Everything you need from the Tiny d6 Engine to micro settings is included in one cohesive package. Not only that, but the game is available digitally and in several print-on-demand formats.

Tiny Dungeon uses the Tiny d6 Engine which requires only 3d6. Standard Tests are made by rolling 2d6, with 5’s and 6’s being successes. Rolling at Advantage or Disadvantage? Bump that up to 3d6 or down to 1d6. It’s that simple. Need to climb a wall? 2d6. Want to attack that goblin? 2d6. It’s simple, clean, and incredibly effective.

That’s not all there is to Tiny Dungeon, however. There’s optional rules for using Zones in combat, as well as rules on how to advance characters. Characters are fairly simple, having traits that define what they can do in different situations. Even a character’s inventory is broken down in “slots” to get rid of pesky encumbrance.

While the d6 trims a lot of fat, Tiny Dungeon is still packed with information. There’s races, items, animal companions, monsters, and even micro settings to use to give your campaigns a head start. There’s an adventure generator, plot hooks, lore, and plenty of amazing artwork.

To put in plainly, Tiny Dungeon is a breath of fresh air. It’s fast, light requires minimal setup on both the GM’s and the player’s parts, and is incredibly flexible. The rules don’t cover everything, but they’re not supposed to. Much is left in the GM’s hands. The only real downside is that printed versions are a bit pricey because the book is printed on demand. Really, though, you’re getting your money’s worth with it.
