WizKids and Games Workshop have just announced a new partnership bringing the Warhammer 40k IP to the table in new ways, including WizKids Dice Building Games.

“We’re thrilled to be working with Games Workshop and the Warhammer 40,000 license,” said Justin Ziran, president of WizKids. “This beloved franchise is known the world over and our partnership will allow us to create amazing products and experiences for fans everywhere.”

Two new 40k board games are already in the works, as are some dice games and plans to republish classic board games Fury of Dracula and Relic. The first of these releases should drop mid-2018.

I guess we know why Games Workshop ended their agreement with Fantasy Flight Games now.
