File this under the “Huh? … yet cool” category. Today Atari announced it’s line of Atari Speakerhats, including an Officially-Licensed, limited edition Blade Runner 2049 Speakerhat.

Speakerhats are baseball caps with high-fidelity stereo speakers and microphones that can connect instantly to any Bluetooth-supported device, enabling phone calls, audio/music, and voice control. Powered by Audiowear, Atari Speakerhats have been precision-designed and engineered to the highest audio standards to deliver a unique and powerful experience to a range of active consumers, including gamers and streamers, outdoor and fitness enthusiasts, skaters, musicians, sports fans, tech early-adopters and many others.

The Blade Runner 2049 Speaker hat will be limited and priced at $139.99, while the two standard Speakerhats will cost $129.99. Expensive, but pretty cool. I’m really curious to see how good the quality of the speakers are, and how “private” they are.
