Back on August 20, 2017, I posted a preview of James Campbell’s Into the Black: Boarding Party. Unfortunately, last year’s Kickstarter attempt did not quite make it. However, I am happy to announce that after several years of development and 2 previous Kickstarter attempts, Into the Black: Boarding Party is back on Kickstarter.
This latest attempt was fully funded on March 4, 2018, 11 stretch goals have been unlocked, and there are still 5 days to go in the funding campaign (I placed an image showing what is included in the game box and what has been unlocked below). The minimum pledge level to receive a copy is $46. As I mentioned last year, this semi-cooperative space pirate dungeon crawler is refreshingly unique and worth a look. The goal of this game is to board enemy ships, loot, plunder, complete objectives, and survive. If you are itching to get your Kickstarter fix and back something truly distinct, give this game a shot. You can check out James Campbell giving an overview of the gameplay HERE. I am happy to see this game finally take flight. It deserves to get off the ground and onto the table top.
