Doctor Who is one of the latest themed Fluxx games from Looney Labs featuring, you guessed it, Doctor Who. The card set draws from both old Who (Doctors 1-8) and new Who (Doctors 9-12.) No 13th Doctor in this set, though there is a mysterious Future Doctor card. Favorite companions, such as River Song, Rose Tyler, The Ponds, Jack Harkness, Donna Noble, and more join the Doctor, as well as the Sonic Screwdriver, TARDIS, and That Scarf.

Doctor Who Fluxx also contains Creepers, which not every Fluxx set does. The Doctor’s most famous villains are featured here. Cybermen, Daleks, The Master, and Weeping Angels are all mixed in to make you have a bad Fluxx day. Thankfully rules like “I’m a Genius!” are mixed in to let you win with Creepers on the table as long as there’s a Doctor in play. Goals such as Resistance is Useless!, Would You Like a Jelly Baby?, Exterminate!, Hello Sweetie, and more will bring back fond memories for any Whovian.

How does it compare to other versions of Fluxx?

It’s Fluxx!

I know I previously said that Chemistry Fluxx was one of my favorite editions of the game, but that’s before I knew there’d be a Doctor Who one! As a Whovian, this hits all the right buttons with a mix of loved characters and inside jokes.
