New on Kickstarter today, Battle for Biternia is a 4-on-4 hero battle game that brings the excitement of Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) games to the tabletop. The 16-bit pixel art further ties the game to its video game roots and was done by Fabio Fontes of Pixel Tactics and Millenium Blades fame.

If you’re interested in giving the game a shot there’s a free print-and-play demo and a Tabletop Simulator module.

Battle for Biternia’s campaign runs until December 7 2017 with a minimum pledge of $49 to make sure you get a copy of the game if it funds. As with many other campaigns, the rewards just go up from there.

I’m keeping an eye on this one.
